Travel Photography With a Holga (kind of)

Here are a few shots from my most recent visit to The Ringling Museum of Art  in Sarasota, FL.
I was there mainly to see the Herb Ritts photography show, but also took a couple of hours to stroll around the massive grounds.
Places like this are perfect for trying out new lenses or ideas. Architecture, sculpture, flowers, trees, big skies and water all in one place.
For these photos I was using a plastic Holga lens attached to my Nikon DSLR. (thanks to Ebay and an inventive company in Hong Kong)
I really like than I can get the dreamy "Holga effect" without having to get film developed or scanned-I have an instant digital image. The only thing missing for Holga purists is that the images are not square. I didn't miss that so much, and that can always be corrected by cropping.
