Here are some photos I took at The Shops At Wiregrass a two nights ago. This open air mall has become famous for their "Symphony in Lights" shows held nightly at 6,7,8,and 9PM.
This year's show included snow machines. I was having a hard time getting the snow to show up in the shots I was taking, so I did something I never do. I used the on camera flash. To me nothing flattens out a photo and destroys the mood like an on camera flash. But in this case shooting almost straight up into a black sky with the snow coming right at my (uv filter protected) lens created something magical. The rest of these photos were mostly shot at iso800 with shutter speed of a 30th of a second at f-1.8 using the available light.

Love these shots Steve...magical!
Thanks Martin. I was really thrilled with my "snow" shot, made me want to live up north for a few moments. ha
